Happy Unbirthday to me and Happy New Year to you!
It's been a while since the last time I've wrote here on my journal and...well, actually I haven't much to say since my life is based on sleeping and "going to school"(how I love being such a boring girl!) however i also have some news...perhaps i'm not as so boring as I think °A° That'd be a great thing xD
I've got an account on Facebook (just 'cause my cousin have enforced me ç-ç) but I've found out that it's not as horrible and stupid as I thought, the tests are so... oh man X°°°°D
However the most important news which I've discovered is the theory called "six degrees of separation" *w*
In my opinion is an interesting theory and perhaps many of you already know it.
The idea is based on an experiment carried out in 1967 by a social psychologist called Stanley Milgram. He sent parcels to 100 people in different states of the USA. Each person had instructions to try to get their parcel to someone else in another state on the other side of the country. However, the address of the person for whom the parcel was destined was not given -only their name, occupation and a few personal detials. Milgram found out that, on average, each parcel was passed on from one person to another just six times before reaching its final destination.
In a few words you could only contact someone who you already know on a first-name basis. That person has to pass you on to someone they know personally, and so on.
Isn't it interesting?
